Goy Zhenru

Principal Architect, Goy Architects

Zhenru was educated as an architect in Singapore at NUS and in Switzerland at ETH Zürich. After working in both Switzerland and Singapore, she opened her own office here in 2015. Zhenru has created learning facilities (public and private), a farm-stay resort, residences and more recently, an industrial building. A supporter of vernacular architecture and craftsmanship, Zhenru adapts traditional forms to reflect a spirit of modernity. Her passion for relating architecture back to its roots and history is a common theme in her work. In 2019, she was the finalist in ARCASIA’s ‘Asia Architecture Emerging Architects’ accolade for her project Sukasantai Farm Stay.

Pan Yi Cheng

Design Director, Produce & Principal Architect, Type0 Architects

Yi Cheng is the co-founder and Design Director of both Produce Workshop and Superstructure Sg. He recently registered as an architect in Singapore and founded Type0 Architects. These companies specialise in different fields – design, digital fabrication and architecture respectively – while working synergistically to enrich the built environment. Produce received the ‘Interior of the Year’ award at the 2017 INSIDE World Festival of Interiors for the Herman Miller shop-in-shop at Xtra. Produce won the highest accolade, the ‘Best of the Best’ award at the INDE.Awards 2019 for being a studio in the Indo-Pacific region that redefines and refocuses the significant role of architecture and design.
