Penny is the Managing Director and co-founder of Siren Design Group’s Singapore studio. She’s been with Siren since its inception in Australia in 2005, but here in Singapore she’s propelled the business from a disruptive start-up in 2012 to a leading interior design consultancy in the region. Penny has created award-winning projects for innovative brands. Driven to challenge the norm, and with a thirst for knowledge, she combines an entrepreneurial spirit with creativity and is known for finding the sweet spot between innovation and practicality. Penny’s vision, and the purpose of Siren, is to enable people to thrive – be they clients, partners or humanity at large.
Peter has a personal ambition to transform work and workplace in Asia – to help create beautiful and functional buildings that drive business performance and enhance the lives of workers. Peter works at board level with corporations to understand their businesses and to develop and implement strategies that improve business performance. His passion and expertise lies with understanding the relationships between culture, behaviour, technology, organisational processes and the creation and use of physical environments – in particular places for work, innovation and learning. Peter leads the Workplace Strategy Centre of Excellence function in APAC for CBRE, and a team of 120 specialists in twelve countries.
Richard has over 30 years of property-industry experience – 19 of them in Asia – and has worked on numerous high-profile projects in the Asia Pacific region. Richard has developed an extensive network with government agencies, investors, banks and key stakeholders, and has a very good understanding of the success factors for property development, ownership and performance. He now leads Paya Lebar Quarter, a centrally located international mixed-use development and a key catalyst to the URA master plan to transform Paya Lebar into Singapore’s new business and lifestyle hub. His vision for PLQ is to be Singapore’s most progressive and sustainable precinct.
Tamagin is a design leader at HASSELL, based in the firm’s Singapore studio, which is its strategic hub in Southeast Asia for the Asia region. He leads HASSELL’s ‘Commercial & Workplace’ sector and ‘Education & Science’ sector within the region, leveraging his expertise in ‘learning design’. Tamagin has diverse experience in government and private sector projects of various scales and complexities. He’s been involved in a number of leading projects in Singapore and is looking to expand his portfolio across sectors and locations in the future, with a focus on sector and typology cross-pollination and diversification.
Narelle is the Editor of Cubes magazine, Indesignlive.sg and Indesignlive.hk, and the Asia Co-Editor of Habitus. She is a Senior Content Editor for Indesign Media’s C-GEN content service, and the Co-Director (with Alice Blackwood) of the INDE.Awards 2019. She has lived in Singapore for over a decade and worked in architecture and design publishing in Singapore, Perth and Melbourne since 2002. She spent several years teaching interior design at Curtin University of Technology in Perth, and holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design from UWA and a Bachelor of Arts (Interior Architecture) from Curtin University of Technology.
