Billy is an interior designer with over 15 years’ experience in the design and delivery of award-winning lifestyle projects throughout Asia, Australia and the Middle East. He leads Woods Bagot’s retail team across China and is responsible for the creative direction and delivery of projects. Billy’s passion lies in exploring future retail strategies. Vertical retail, brand experience and consumer behaviour analysis are his core areas of expertise. Born in Hong Kong and educated at RMIT University, Billy started his career with Ogilvy & Mather in Melbourne where he developed his skills in branding and spatial design. He returned to Asia to join Woods Bagot in 2006.
Ken’s passion for storytelling and people has led to a unique approach that couples design thinking and a personalised process of interviews, observations, prototyping and workshops. His holistic approach to design ensures everyone’s needs are sought and met. His design contributions have served various industries, including clients such as Grain Traders, Salad Stop, Frank by OCBC and Lee Hwa. His recent interior for Lee Hwa Jewelspace was shortlisted in the INDE.Awards 2019. Prior to Parable, Ken was an award-winning Director at Ong & Ong’s Experience Design Studio and Director of the interior design company Leo International Design Group.
Wynk Collaborative is a Singapore-based design studio whose work is centered on spatial design and all aspects surrounding it. The studio’s work is rooted in the idea of collaboration and a belief in the power of good design to influence and create change. Hon Kit graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2008 with a Master of Architecture. His design approach works off a contrast between function and play, and is rooted in a deeply humanist design ethos – an influence from his semesters spent in Sweden and Norway as a student. Narelle is the Editor of Cubes magazine, Indesignlive.sg and Indesignlive.hk, and the Asia Co-Editor of Habitus. She is a Senior Content Editor for Indesign Media’s C-GEN content service, and the Co-Director (with Alice Blackwood) of the INDE.Awards 2019. She has lived in Singapore for over a decade and worked in architecture and design publishing in Singapore, Perth and Melbourne since 2002. She spent several years teaching interior design at Curtin University of Technology in Perth, and holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design from UWA and a Bachelor of Arts (Interior Architecture) from Curtin University of Technology.
